Chapter 18:~Two Hearts Beating...~

Tetsu entered the dim room carrying Hyde in his arms. He had imagined this before... Pictured this image in his head many times, and many times tried to shake it away. But now it was happening. It had become true. He was really carrying Hyde in his arms. He was really having him without restrictions. It was almost like the dreams he had been secretly giving in to for years...only he had never guessed Hyde would weight this much. The small-framed vocalist had always seemed so light and fragile.

"You know, even if you are skinny, you are heavy..." Tetsu let out a sigh.

"Shut up! Baka! It’s just that you are weak!"

Hyde held Tetsu wrapping his arms around the taller man’s neck. A sudden feeling of déjà vu stroke him, but he tried to shake the image out of his head. No, he didn’t want a doppelganger anymore. He wanted the real thing. He wanted Tetsu. He wanted to be loved. More than company... love was more important. He was steadily on the way of sorting out his feelings... he was about to come to a conclusion about this eagerness in his heart. This unrest he knew he had felt years ago. Like packed emotions pushing hard to gush out. He could almost tell it was love. Yes... after so long. Everyone had been right. Even Sakura had been right. He was feeling love again. And it felt different from anything else. He could tell. Love in its purest form... so pure it brought tears to his eyes.

Tetsu dropped Hyde on the bed, and stared at him grinning. Hyde could see a different kind of smile emerging on Tetsu’s face. He knew Tetsu was going for it. And suddenly he was scared, which surprised him a lot. His plan had obviously failed... he realized he had fallen in love with Tetsu. That was the truth. It was as if a new light had entered his heart letting him see things clearly. He had fallen in love with Sakura long ago, but their relationship had fallen apart, and in the end, it was just the fear of solitude that had kept them together. But this... this was love... like he had once felt before... He remembered the sensation in his heart. The warmth washing over his body and soul. The happiness coming from within. This is what Tetsu had been talking about. And he was happy... but also frightened.

"Ah... Anou... Tet-chan... We should rest, ne...? It’s late and tomorrow there’s practice and..."

"Oh... This time I scared you, ne...?"

"You are scared!" Tetsu grinned amused.

Tetsu crawled on the bed and took off his shirt. Hyde retreated and almost fell to the ground gasping. Tetsu caught him by his pajama trousers.

"Ah... ah... Tet-chan... Ah..." Hyde was stammering and blushing.

"You are such a good actor... but such a big chicken..."

"No! No! I’m ready... I... What exactly will you do?"

"I don’t know... You are the experienced one here." Tetsu grinned. Actually he knew if Hyde got some courage he would be the one to get scared.

"No. I’ll undress you." Tetsu answered still grinning.

"What’s wrong, Haido?" Tetsu asked frowning in concern.

Hyde hugged him tight and began to cry softly on Tetsu’s shoulder.

"No... please... not like that. I’ll do it, but... gently... please..."

"I won’t hurt you, Haido. I’m not... him."

"I... I know..." Hyde sobbed on Tetsu’s shoulder, kneeling on the bed, feeling very guilty. "You are big... I’ve noticed that you are big..."

"Yeah. OK. I agree." Hyde nodded frantically.

Hyde undid his pajama jacket and lowered his pajama pants a little while kissing Tetsu’s bare chest, and Tetsu caressed the smaller man’s head lovingly, pecking on it gently.
