Chapter 24 ~You Saved Me~

It was late, and the summer heat was already too evident in the Tokyo night. Tetsu opened the door and turned on the lights and the air conditioning. Hyde followed him into the apartment nonchalantly.

"Ne... Tet-chan. Today was great." Hyde commented playing with the crumpled wrapping of the last bar of chocolate cereal he had eaten just a few minutes ago. "We finished two songs! It’s great, isn’t it?"

"Yeah. Your voice is back too. You sang really well." Tetsu said leaving his belongings on the table.

"I’m so tired!" Hyde stretched his arms and walked towards the bedroom. "I’ll change into my pajamas."

"OK. Take a bath too." Tetsu commented as he walked towards his studio. Hyde was almost like a child when it came to clothes and self care.

"Wanna come with me?" Hyde invited casually.

"I’ll take a shower later." Tetsu answered in an equal tone and closed the door of the studio behind him.

"OK." Hyde nodded and entered the bedroom. "Damn... almost!"

He took off his clothes and put on a robe. Then he went into the bathroom. He opened the shower and cautiously took a step under the lavish rain of lukewarm water.

Tetsu could hear the noise of the water from the studio.

"Well... Calm down, man..." Tetsu said to himself. "You want this as much as he does, only he says it all the time... and you are a much more civilized and modest person, you wouldn’t be saying such inappropriate things out loud. And maybe he was just joking... He hasn’t tried anything since then... He... said he’s tired... so.... get yourself together, don’t be nervous, act naturally..." Tetsu lectured himself very nervously, paying attention to the constant noise coming from the bathroom.

"Well, Hideto... calm down." Hyde said to himself. "Whatever will be, will be... I won’t faint, I will be OK. I’m being strong as an ox now. It’s been a long time though... I will play it nice and calm... can’t rush things... cuz... Tetsu would be scared... and cuz... I am already scared... so... I can’t show him I’m scared... so I must act naturally... Uh... yeah, he’s big so... better take it easy..." He crouched in the tub and bit his nails.

"What if he says no..." Hyde wondered. "He might say no..."

"What if it was all just bluffing..." Tetsu wondered biting on a pencil and staring at the wall. "What’s worse... what if he says yes..."

Both men had dinner in silence. The tense atmosphere could have been cut with a knife, and after they went to sleep, together, in the same bed, both rested awake in silence in the dark. Two sets of eyes staring at the black scenery, unaware of the other’s similar state of mind. Both too nervous to even move.

"Uh... Tet-chan...?" Hyde gathered strength to speak.

"Ha-hai?" Tetsu’s voice answered trembling.

"Uh... I... I... I like you..."

"Aa. I like you too..."

"Aa."

A long silence followed.

"Ne... Tet-chan...?"

"Ha-hai?"

"I... want to make love, but if you don’t, I understand..." Hyde said in a rush.

"Aa. Uh... I think... I... want too..."

"Aa. That’s good. I mean... We agree..."

"Yeah."

"So... Uh... what do I do, Tet-chan?"

"Ah... Uh... I don’t... know..."

"Uh... hai... uhm... I’m nervous..." Hyde said laughing softly.

"Ah... so, so... me too, Haido..."

Hyde snuggled up to Tetsu and whispered on his shoulder. "Does it help if I remove my clothes?"

"Uh... yeah... OK... wait..."

"Hai?"

"I’ll remove your clothes and you remove mine..."

"Good idea."

They helped each other remove their clothes, lights off. Taunting and guessing in the dark. Both feeling awkward.

"Your skin is very smooth, Tet-chan... Almost like a girl’s." Hyde whispered embarrassed. He felt funny at the fact that he would always find the perfect words for the songs that had made them famous... yet he couldn’t find the right ones at this moment. The words that expressed how he felt, and how he craved for this moment.

Tetsu cupped Hyde’s face in his hands and pulling lightly he kissed Hyde’s lips in a sweet kiss.

Hyde wrapped his arms around Tetsu’s shoulders.

"Your lips are so sweet, Haido... I’ve always wanted them." Tetsu smiled... he knew he was being clumsy.

Hyde pulled Tetsu towards him strongly, and kissed him hard, parting his lips to let Tetsu’s tongue taste his mouth.

Hyde’s hands rubbed Tetsu’s back while their mouths melted in a long kiss, savoring each other, moaning inside the kiss, sucking and caressing inside each other’s mouths, Tetsu pawed at the lamp and turned on the light.

Hyde broke the kiss startled. "What’s wrong, Tet-chan?"

"I want to see you."

The small vocalist stretched his arms upwards and held the headboard in a strong grip, then he placed his legs on Tetsu’s shoulders. Tetsu put a cushion under Hyde’s lower back and slid two fingers inside him. Hyde screamed in a husky voice and moaned gasping.

"Haido... don’t cum yet..." Tetsu said in a deep but sweet voice.

Tetsu entered Hyde’s body in a sudden thrust, surprising him. Hyde shook violently, his head hit the headboard, and he bit his lips until he could taste the blood trailing down. His hands held the wooden board tightly over his head. The pain was enormous. He had become unused to this, yet he didn’t want to scream.

"Daijobu? Haido?"

Hyde nodded unable to speak. He would cry and scream if he opened his mouth. His eyes were pressed shut tightly and he was fidgeting in pain.

"Haido, I’ll withdraw..." Tetsu whispered concerned.

"No!!!!" Hyde screamed with all the might of his lungs, releasing all the tension the pain had created in him.

"Oh... OK! OK..." Tetsu answered startled.

Hyde’s eyes were full of tears. He was in terrible pain, yet somehow he was enjoying it incredibly.

"Just... just... slowly... Tet-chan... Please..." Hyde managed to say between gasps.

"Of course, my sweet lover..." Tetsu smiled at Hyde. Hyde’s eyes still closed.

Tetsu rubbed Hyde’s arousal slowly as he moved inside him little by little, his moans melted in with Hyde’s.

"I love you... Tet-chan..." Hyde managed to groan between gasps.

"I love you too, Doiha-chan. Just relax... we’ll cum together..."

"Huh?" Hyde could understand neither what he was saying nor what Tetsu was saying.

Hyde’s screams choked as the smaller man hit his fists against the headboard. A thin thread of blood coming from his lower lip, he fidgeted and gasped.

"Huh? You are sorry?"

"You didn’t... I loved it..." Hyde smiled caressing Tetsu’s head on his stomach.

Tetsu kissed Hyde’s navel and looked up at him.

"You did?"

"Yeah... you are great... I can hardly tell it’s your first time..."

"I said it was?"

"What?!"

"You are so silly... and jealous..." Tetsu chuckled.

"This is not your first time?!"

"Is it yours?"

"I asked first! And besides you know my answer!"

"I won’t tell you until tomorrow..."

"Who was it? When did it happen?!" Hyde screamed, still unable to breathe regularly.

"It was... a small guy... very good looking..."

"Really? He was good looking? Better than me?" Hyde questioned bitterly.

"Yeah, he was..." Tetsu trailed off and sighed.

"Tet-chan no baka!! Warui hito no Tet-chan!!" Hyde punched on Tetsu’s arm mildly.

"His name was Hideto... he was my first guy... and only."

Hyde smiled pleased. "That’s me, baka."

Tetsu smiled and caressed Hyde’s chest lightly.

"Of course, baka..." and pressed a kiss on Hyde’s lips.

"And you didn’t notice, but I watched you cum." Tetsu added, his voice tired.

"I did notice. You have been watching over me all the time." Hyde answered happily.

Tetsu held Hyde in his arms and kissing his forehead he coaxed him to sleep. Hyde nodded and snuggled up to fit his head under Tetsu’s chin. They both fell asleep in a loose embrace.

Summer had settled in the whole hemisphere and it was still a long time before it would give way to chillier days. Hyde used to hate summertime. It was too hot and sticky. But those days he was feeling too happy to worry about the weather.

He had finished several lyrics, and even worked on music too. Ken, Tetsu and Yukihiro were rehearsing and arranging the music for some of their songs while he watched them, sitting on a couch a few meters from them. He lit up a cigarette and inhaled. Tetsu looked at him and Hyde leaned back pleased at him, exchanging knowing smiles. They would be together that night too, like every night. Sharing their intimacy, enjoying each other plenty.

"What are you looking at with that hentai face, Haido?" Ken asked wickedly.

"Tet-chan’s butt." Hyde answered in the same tone.

Tetsu turned and gave them a meaningful look.

"Do you two have to start this again?!" Tetsu protested.

Yukihiro laughed behind the drums. He just couldn’t believe he was taking part in this ‘secret’.

"Tet-chan’s butt is mine." Hyde added aloud, blowing circles of smoke.

"Stop it, Haido!" Tetsu pleaded.

"I bet that pleases you." Ken answered laughing.

"Ohh like you have no idea!" Hyde answered amused.

Tetsu rolled his eyes and decided to ignore them.

Hyde took his notebook while smoking, and let the rest of the band rehearse. He took a pencil that was lying on the floor and began writing his own personal messy diary.

"I love him. I know I do. He downpours me with kisses and care... He doesn’t care if I do something silly, he laughs with me. He’s so kind...

I never thought love could be so easy... it can move so smoothly, so calmly, and yet be so passionate and ardent...

I need you Tet-chan. I have become addicted to your love. I have become incredibly in need of you... not only in body, but also in heart and soul.

Yes, I know I love Tet-chan. And this knowledge fills me with happiness.

I look at him and I get lost in his form... His kind gaze... his light skin so shiny... his tender hand caressing my head. His radiant smile. He shines like the sun, replenishing my life with unbounded joy.

Because I can tell you everything and you understand. Because you don’t push me into doing things I don’t want to do. Because you are sensitive, and the things I do, or fail to do, affect you.
