First Blood:
Chapter 7 ~Finale~
Hyde sat on a wall in Sakuras small balcony. He looked down at all the people coming and going while he smoked peacefully. He had moved in with Sakura after two months. He had promised Ken and Tetsu to go every day to their apartment to wash their clothes and cook for them. Both had refused, and even threatened to beat him up if he insisted on it, but this time Hyde made sure he kept the keys so that he would be able to do it anyway. The album was selling well, their shows were total success... He was happy, and he was sure Tetsu was happy too. Their rock and roll dream was beginning to come true.
Hyde leaned his back against the cold brick wall, painted white in a rustic way, and kept smoking calmly. The faint smoke took swirling shapes and was soon swept away by the cold spring draughts. It looked like rain again. The sky was sombre and shielded the sunlight and warmth away. Sakura was taking too long to return home. Hydes long hair played in the wind, and more often than not he had to tuck it away from his face and his cigarette. His skinny legs, covered by tight black jeans were mildly folded. His feet, dressed in only woolen socks rested one upon the other on the thin white wall. Hyde tried to pull from his sweater sleeves to cover his hands, carefully not to burn them as he smoked.
He chuckled suddenly at the idea of writing a letter to his mother, telling her about the recent events of his life:
Dear mom:
I fell in love with a guy. Hes so handsome and sweet...
He laughed wholeheartedly. Shed kill me... he thought, but kept on amusing himself with the imaginary letter:
... I know youd rather have me marry a girl, but this is better cuz hes got more money than I do, and he takes good care of me. He feeds me, buys me cigarettes, and even holds my hair back when Im sick!
Hes a fiend in bed though. But dont worry. Its not likely that Ill get pregnant before getting married...
He laughed again and almost lost his balance, so he moved suddenly to grab hold of the small wall he was sitting on.
Uh... that was my mother shaking me... he laughed.
Suddenly he heard the door. Must be Sak-chan. He thought. He turned and faced the door looking from the balcony and smiling. He saw Sakura walk in, take off his shoes and coat; then the taller man raised his eyes and caught sight of his lover watching him, and returned his smile.
Sakura walked towards Hyde and wrapped his arms around him.
Give me a smoke, baby... he asked softly, and took the cigarette off Hydes hands, inhaled from it, and put it lovingly between Hydes lips.
You had a nice day, anata? Hyde joked, inhaling and taking the cigarette off his lips.
It is beginning to be nice now, that Im finally with you.
I missed you. Hyde whispered, and leaned towards Sakura delivering a soft peck on his lips.
I missed you terribly, Haido. Sakura smiled.
I cooked and did all the stuff I promised for the guys.
Good boy. That way they wont be jealous.
They are not. Just concerned. I also cooked something for you.
Oh, what a good housewife! Sakura said and kissed Hyde again.
Yeah. Youre lucky to have me.
Do you feel lucky, Haido?
Very.
So, what do we do now, Haido? Eat?
No. Lets go to bed...
The end.
