Frequently Asked Questions
I have been creating sites for myself and for others for some time now, and I know whenever you put your site online for the world to see and flame, (yeah, right... especially "world" and especially "see") you will get lots of mail (yeaaahhhhh riiiiighhhhttt...) asking questions you never thought so many people could wonder about.
Maybe because I know exactly what I mean (obviously) sometimes I may be lead to believe that others will interprete everything just as I intend it to be interpreted... but alas! this is not always true.
So... This is the frequently asked questions section, where I answer all those philosophical doubts (O_o) I usually get mailed about. O_o;;;;
In this way you won't have to wait for my reply in order to be able to enjoy A.W.

Who are you? I am a regular person. Just someone who appreciates her privacy and wishes to remain anonymous as far as that is possible. I am nobody you might know of, and I probably live very far away from you. Perhaps the only thing we have in common is a fetish for reading and writing fictitious stories about characters and celebrities we know. What is this site about? It is obviously about fan-fiction. A site where I gather all the fan.-fiction stories I have written and decided to make public. What is fan-fiction? A fictitious story written by a fan, about their object of love/obsession. Did these stories really happen? No. Hence why they are called fan-fiction. What is yaoi? A written or graphic (or both) parody of homosexual (male x male) content about characters or real people. What is shotakon? Shota-complex. Sort of Lolita complex where the object of love is a pre-pubescent boy. (or pubescent boy... by all means a lot younger than his partner.) What is shounen-ai? Boys' love. Not necessarily involving sex. (Generally wil *NOT* involve sex if it's just shounen ai.) |
Why do you make your characters gay? Well, you see, that is the entire point behind "yaoi fan-fiction". There are plenty of papers on the net dealing with the philosophical and psychological side of yaoi and fan-fiction. I'm sure you'll find quite a bit of material to entertain yourself if you google it. You'll be sued. I don't think the people involved actually care about sueing the likes of me. If they did, they'd have already done so with the myriad of doujinshi artists in their own native countries. Are you gay? No. You? Can you e-mail me [such-such-such] part of the site? No. I've no time for it. If I did have time for it I wouldn't put them in a site for everyone to read. Why is the site called "Arachnoid Web"? Because of the Arachnoid Mater. The arachnoid mater is the middle membrane among the 3 membranes called meninges that envelope the central nervous system. I like it because it's neither too delicate (like the pia-mater) nor too tough (like the dura-matter) What is lemon? A citric. Otherwise, a form of noting a story has/ will have highly sexual content. Can I donate money to you? By all means, do so... There is a contact form in the site. Paypal is welcome. (I'm kidding... wait... unless you are serious about it...) |
